Here is what I also learnt while growing and preserving Spirea.
1. Blue Spirea Japonica flowers, also known as Blue Mist spirea, attract butterflies and bees with their vibrant blue color and sweet nectar.
2. These flowers bloom in late spring to early summer, adding a pop of color to garden landscapes and attracting pollinators. I bought my plant at a market in Collinstown but I see them for sale in Woodies & various garden centers.
3. Spirea Japonica are low maintenance and drought-tolerant, making them a great choice for gardeners looking for beautiful yet easy-to-care-for plants.
