Additional Services

Colour Correction & Colour Enhancement

Colour correction (or colour enhancement) is an additional service available with your flower preservation.

During the drying and resin process, some blooms naturally deepen, fade, or take on a softer, more vintage tone. This is completely normal. While many people love and embrace that aged look, others prefer their flowers to reflect the fresh tones they remember from the day.

This service involves carefully colour matching and enhancing the petals to bring them closer to their original shade.

It is especially recommended for:

  • White Roses

  • Light Pink Roses

  • Sunflowers

  • Cala Lillies

  • Anthurium

  • Italian Ruscus

  • Other very pale or delicate blooms

That said, this service is completely optional. Some clients truly love the natural, vintage tones that develop over time. It simply comes down to personal preference and the look you'd like your finished piece to have.

Rescue Service

Flower Preservation Prolonged Service

At Flower Preservations Ireland we aim to preserve your flowers beautifully, but it's important to understand that resin, no matter how high its quality, will naturally amber over time. Initially, resin pieces look like clear, glass-like perfection, but with age, the resin's natural ambering will occur. This process is unavoidable and part of its charm, giving pieces a vintage feel we personally adore.

If you prefer to maintain a fresher look and would like to minimise the appearance of ambering, we offer an add-on service: for a flat fee of €100, we can add a sleek black background to your piece within 5 years. Over time, this background can help conceal the ambering effect, creating a timeless backdrop that enhances your flowers.

We offer a Rescue Service for clients who may have been let down by others in the preservation process. If you have a piece that hasn't met your expectations or needs repair, we are happy to work with you to restore its beauty, using our skills to give your blooms the attention they deserve.

We value the natural aging process of resin as a hallmark of handcrafted artistry, but we also understand that preserving the vibrancy of your flowers is important to many clients.
