Why I almost quit, again. Part 2

05/05/2026
Part 2:
And if I'm being completely honest, there's another reason this year knocked me a bit.
I recently received feedback from a wedding awards platform and while it was helpful… it also stung.
I didn't win this year, and part of that came down to my social media presence and the number of reviews I have.

And when you're already stretched thin, that's a hard pill to swallow.
Because behind the scenes, I know exactly how much goes into each piece, the hours, the care, the pressure to get it right. But online, that doesn't always translate unless it's being shared, reviewed, and seen.

So if you are one of my brides and you've been happy with your piece, I would genuinely appreciate it more than you probably realise if you could take a moment to leave a review.
It really does make a difference, not just for visibility, but for helping this little business keep going and growing.

At the same time, I couldn't be more grateful for the women in this industry who have supported me and shared their advice when things felt hard. Women lifting women, it's exactly how it should be. So a big thank you to Mariah from The Flower Bandits and Carol from Flower Cast for being in my corner.

And then…
There are the lovely clients.
The ones who are kind, patient, and understanding.
The ones who truly appreciate the work that goes into resin, because it's so much more complex than pressing and framing flowers. It's unpredictable, technical, and honestly, sometimes a bit temperamental.

Those clients remind me why I started.
Why I kept going the first, second, third… and now fourth and fifth time I almost quit.
So for now…
I'm still here.
Still figuring it out. Still learning. Still trying to make this business better, for you and for me.
And most importantly, still holding onto the reason I started in the first place.
